At the highly competitive age group national championships held this past Saturday in Kansas City, four members of The Des Moines Triathlon Club qualified for the USA Triathlon age group national team: JJ Bailey was third overall, 1st in his age group Doug Vander Weide was 63rd overall, 5th in his age group Reed Rinderknecht was 96th overall, 15th in his age group. Jan Mohs was 169th woman overall, 9th in her age group. These results qualify each of them for Team USA, and the opportunity to race at the world championships in Lausanne, Switzerland in September.
