Welcome to the 27th Anniversary Clive Running Festival.
This will be a good one!
Hard to believe that the racing year is in
full swing again. The newly renovated Campbell Park will once again host the 27th
Clive Running Festival. The scenic Campbell Park and Greenbelt trail has been a very
popular site for nearly 1000 runners in our 5 — 10K races, 1 mile fun run and tadpole
trot. It will be a great place to relax, listen to the music and enjoy refreshments
after testing your fitness.
Free swimming at the Clive Aquatic Center with your race number can cap off your
day.
Once again the Clive Running Festival will host the Iowa Senior Olympics 5K/10K events.
If interested in this or other Senior Olympics activities on June 5 — 8, please check
out the web site, www.iowaseniorolympics.org. So get those running shoes laced up tight and join
us for our 27th year, and bring a friend.

Registration
You may register by mail or during packet pick-up on Friday June 13th from 4 to 7 PM at Campbell
Park, or on Saturday at the race site (Campbell Park in Clive) between 6:00 &
30 minutes before the individual race time. You

Please register early, T-shirt sizes are not guarenteed with race day entry.

Pickup
Packets maybe picked up on Friday,
June13th, from 4 to 7 PM at the New Campbell Park Shelter House in Campbell Park,
12385 Woodlands Parkway (off 128th St. between
Hickman Road and University Ave. in Clive.). Packets will also be available Saturday
morning at the race site (Campbell Park) at 6 AM.
Courses
The course will be faster with fewer
hills, so we're looking for some fast times. 10K is two different 5K loops.

Race results will be posted here after the race.. Awards not picked up on race
day will be available at Clive City Hall, Park and Rec office until July 1, 2008.
Cash winners are not eligible for age group awards. All Tadpole Trot participants
will receive award ribbons. All paying participants receive an official Clive Running
Festival t-shirt.
