FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR
The scenic and challenging course for the Clive Running Festival
is similar as 2009, running through several Clive neighborhoods and the Greenbelt
trail. The Clive Running Festival is non-profit, and proceeds are used to benefit
the local community. Funds from last year’s entry fees were recently used to install
two water fountains on the Greenbelt
trail for use by runners and others throughout the season. Additional funds from
past years’ entry fees have purchased snow blowers for use by Clive Parks and Recreation
workers to clear the Greenbelt Trail during the winter months. Your support of the
Clive Running Festival helps to allow the community to enjoy the beautiful Greenbelt
trial.
